2 Plane Drawings
Pushing the medium of charcoal on paper, I am altering my drawings by mounting them on two planes which lay roughly at a 45 degree angle to one another. This allows me to combine two drawings into one work while still preserving the singular images. These works require an active viewer to move around the piece and discover the complete array of possible combinations of the two images. They challenge our habitual ways of viewing drawings.
